Liverpool manager Arne Slot has blamed squad depth following Wednesday’s heavy defeat against Crystal Palace.
Speaking after the clash, Slot noted that he lacked squad depth capable of taking out opponents compared to other clubs such as Manchester City.
“I saw Manchester City’s starting eleven and they didn’t have one starter from the weekend, but it felt like their best team,” he said

He continued by admitting that he is currently under pressure after the results, given the status of the club and the results they expect.
“If you are on a run of results like this, if you play for Liverpool, if you manage Liverpool, the pressure is there,” he said
