Premier League giants Arsenal has agreed a deal to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad at the end of the season.
The Spaniard is expected to be the first signing for the Gunners in the next season under Mikel Arteta and Sporting Director Andrea Berta.

Zubimendi has already agreed verbally to the deal which will see Arsenal trigger his €60m release clause.
“Arsenal agree deal to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, here we go! Zubimendi has now verbally agreed to sign a long term deal… so formal steps must follow soon with Arsenal to trigger €60m clause.

At Arsenal, the Spaniard is expected to challenge Thomas Partey in midfield and link with Declan Rice. Mikel Arteta however has an option to pair him with other options in midfield.
