Premier League giants Arsenal are in talks to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Areizabalaga for £5 million as stipulated in his release clause.
Kepa is considered is set to become backup goalkeeper to David Raya with deal termed very strategic for the club in terms of increasing its depth between the sticks.

“Arsenal are informed on £5m release clause for Kepa as option to be David Raya’s backup. Initial talks took place to be informed on deal conditions.” said Fabrizio Romano
The Chelsea goalkeeper has been on loan at Bournemouth where he has managed to keep eight clean sheets from 31 appearances for the club.
His acquisition has also been welcomed by Arsenal fans who have termed it a financial strategy that will allow the club focus on other areas in the transfer market.
At the moment, the Gunners are set to sign a striker with the name of Benjamin Sesko discussed internally as the number one target in the area.
