“Arsenal have rewarded David Raya with improved contract and higher salary. The new agreement has been already signed and it’s part of process to give players what they deserve,” said Fabrizio Romano
Raya joins Trossard, another Arsenal player who had his salary was increased, even though his contract will remain the same.
The 29-year-old Spaniard joined the Gunners on loan from Brentford before he was signed permanently last year after earning the Premier League’s Golden Glove after finishing the previous season with 16 clean sheets.
His performance has cemented his place in the club’s number one position and has also won the hearts of Arsenal fans.
