Nigerian singer Asake has broken his silence following a fan’s death during his concert in Nairobi on 20th December 2025.
Taking on social media, Asake noted that he was devastated by the tragic incident that left one Karen Lojore dead.
“I am devastated by the tragic incident that took place at the festival on Dec 20th in Nairobi,” he said

He continued by sending his condolences to the family and friends of Karen as he promised to support them during this difficult moment and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
“My heart goes out to the family, friends, and loved ones of Karen Lojore, and I pledge to support and do my best to understand what happened. Those responsible should be held accountable,” he said
According to Asake, the incident is against everything music represents, and the event should have been a celebration.
“My thoughts are with everyone grieving, and I pray that Karen rests in peace,” he said.
