Bruno Fernandes strike wins it for Manchester United

Manchester United bounced back to winning ways on Saturday night beating Burnley in their 10th consecutive under two goal outcome.

For the second time Erik Ten Hag gave Hannibal Mejbri a Premier League start and the Tunisian international did not disappoint linking up with Marcus Rashfird who hit the net from the side.

The host displayed their amazing talent as Luca Koleosho outpaced Diogo Dalot who was eventually booked as Aaron Ramsey forced Onana to make a save before hitting the post later on.

Jonny Evans who was making his 200th appearance for United headed home but his goal was ruled out as Rasmus Højlund had blocked the goalkeeper in the buildup. At last Evans found Bruno Fernandes who strike went low past Burnley goalkeeper for the only goal of the night.

Despite failing to net a single ball, Vincent Kompany’s boys dominated possession with their clear passes which failed to connect in the final third of the field. It was the host who controlled the final minutes of the clash.

The win takes Manchester United in 8th position with nine points from six games played. Burnley succumbed to the bottom of the league with only a point.
