Renowned TV presenter Swaleh Mdoe has been suspended by Citizen TV from appearing on air for undisclosed period of time.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, the source told the media station that the presenter was suspended after he was absent for the 1 pm news bulletin that was set for January 23rd, 2024.

Following the suspension, Mdoe has been missing from work for over three weeks now with the source revealing that the he had been off for a medical checkup on the very day he was to appear on air.
Even though he was out receiving medical attention, Mdoe is reported to have failed to inform his supervisor of his absence forcing the management to make abrupt changes in the programme.
The source reveals that the presenter was immediately summoned by the company after returning to work. It was during the meeting that he was informed of his indefinite suspension.
