Ali Mwakaribu, Coast based musician popularly known as Ally B has passed on following a short illness.
Reports from closed family members confirmed that the veteran singer was unwell and was rushed to Coast General Hospital for treatment where he died.
Also confirming his death was Mohammed Ramadhan, the brother to Ally B who confirmed that the musician arrived home on Wednesday afternoon and was not feeling well.

The Coast based artist came into the limelight following his collabo with now gospel artist and preacher Size 8. Other songs that he has done include Maria, Bembea, Kadzo, and Yelele.
Several artist have joined the rest of Kenyans to mourn the singer including legendary producer and singer Shirko.
