The incident that shocked both passengers and crew alike occurred on Saturday as the pilot was preparing to debunk Delta Flight 2809 around 9:35 p.m.

Just before the passenger could leave, federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) came in and went directly to the cockpit, cuffed the pilot and walked him down the aisle as revealed by one passenger.
“A group of people with badges, guns, and different agency vests/markings were pushing their way up through the aisle to the cockpit,” said one passenger
Immediately after he was taken away, another group of police came in for his belongings and left.
It was not clear what had happened and what part of the law the pilot had broken to get arrested.
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has recently been conducting arrests of immigrants after President Donald Trump called on mass crackdown of illegal immigrants in the U.S.
Request to HSI for an explanation of the incident has gone unanswered, with Delta Airlines deferring questions to the agents.
