Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri has accepted a loan to French side Olympique Marseille after the Ligue 1 side came knocking.
It has been revealed that Marseille are only interested in signing him on loan that will end in June, at the end of the normal season.
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has played a crucial factor in the deal and is revealed that he held talks with fellow coach Roberto de Zerbi.

“Ethan Nwaneri has accepted to join Olympique Marseille! Arsenal also believe it’s the best solution on loan. Arteta also spoke with Roberto de Zerbi and OM seen as ideal solution.
Straight loan deal at final stages, no buy option clause — expected to be agreed soon,” said Fabrizio Romano
The terms of the loan include Marseille covering the salary of the youngester for the entire loan period including a €3m fee based on the player’s appearance.
“Olympique Marseille official bid to Arsenal for Ethan Nwaneri: loan until June, no buy option clause, salary covered. Loan fee over €3m but based on player’s appearances as Nwaneri wants regular game time. Arsenal are open to discuss terms with negotiations underway,” said Fabrizio Romano
