Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has addressed concerns about the number of advisors assigned to public officials, following growing criticism over the size of President William Ruto’s advisory team.
Speaking at a forum held on Monday, June 9, Mbadi clarified that all Cabinet Secretaries, himself included, are currently allowed only one advisor. This policy, he emphasized, is being applied consistently across the entire government.
“Right now, every Cabinet Secretary, myself included, is assigned just one advisor. Previously, the number was two, but it has since been reduced,” he said.
When asked about the advisors working under President Ruto, Mbadi noted that such appointments fall outside his responsibilities. He explained that he has no authority over the number of advisors the President chooses to appoint. CLICK HERE>>>>> CS Mbadi addresses concerns on High Number of President Ruto’s Advisorsto read full
