Five members of the same family are feared dead in Isiolo following an arson attack from a suspected love triangle.
The Tuesday night deadly inferno claimed the life of a 45-year-old woman and four children hwo were alseep at the time.
Those who perished include three children and their cousin all aged between 7 and 15 years and the children’s mother. Property of unknown value was also consumed by the midnight fire.

It has since been revealed that the fire could have been set by a woman following a love triangle.
The news agitated area residents who attacked the woman, lynched her to death before setting her house on fire.
Area Chief Abdi Dida comfirmed that immediate action was taken to protect the woman’s children who were at school at the time their mother was being lynched as the residents were planning to target them too.
The Chief also called for immediate investigation into the incident as elders condemned it saying nothing of that sought has ever happened in the area.
