It was business unusual outside Parliament after former Nominated Senator Gloria Orwoba attempted to access the Senate Chambers.
The former UDA Senator was arrested outside Parliament as she attempted to enter the chambers following a court order that reinstated her membership of UDA.

She was, however, stopped by police officers even after informing them that she was reporting back to work and not serving them court orders.
“Huyu alinishika last time, ni nani yule alinishika last time? Mpaka leo alinishika. I am at my workplace, and you are obstructing me from going into my workplace. Who are you! Mimi ndio nafaa niwashike nyinyi wote,” she said during her arrest.
According to Orwoba, the Senate had already been served the court order but as for her, she was reporting back to work.
“I am not coming to serve you with the court instructions; they were already served last week. I am coming to work. I am at the Senate trying to go to work, and you are obstructing me,” she said
It was during the talks that six female police officer whisked her away and her Land Cruiser was towed away from the gate.
This is the second time that the controversial former Senate was removed from Parlaiment building. In August 2025, she was also kicked out after he ouster from the party and chambers.
