Former Royal Media presenter Jacque Maribe is pleading for financial support to give her father, Maribe Mwangi, a befitting send-off.
Through a statement issued on Friday, 26th December 2025, the former Presenter noted that plans are underway to lay her father to rest at his rural home in Gathaithi Village on Wednesday, 31st December 2025.
She continued by confirming that a memorial service will be held on Sunday, 28th December 2025, at Worldwide Gospel Church in Buruburu, located along Rabai Road, next to Rubis Petrol Station, from 10:00 a.m.

“We humbly request your prayers and financial support so that we may give our Mheshimiwa a befitting send-off. Financial contributions to be sent to: Paybill number:* 4813691 *Account Number:* Your Name. We plan to lay him to rest on Wednesday, December 31 2025, at his home in Gathaithi Village,” she said

At the same time, the family is currently holding daily meetings in preparation for his burial.
Maribe Mwangi passed away on 22nd December 2025 following a long illness. According to the family, he has been in and out of the hospital for a long time, straining the family financially.
