Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) have arrested Nancy Kigunzu also known as mathe wa Ngara in Nairobi CBD area.
The notorious drug dealer was arrested following the discovery of 26 bags of bhang and Ksh 13.4 million as revealed by DCI officers on social media.
“DCI officers nab notorious drug trafficker in Nairobi. Nancy Indoveria Kigunzu, also known as Mathe Wa Ngara, has been arrested by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers in the Central Business District (CBD) of Nairobi on Monday evening.

Nancy Kigunzu is accused of being involved in drug trafficking and supplying narcotics to various parts of the city. She is currently being interrogated at the DCI headquarters,” said Cyprian is Nyakundi
The discovery of cash and drugs saw the arrest of 54-year-old Teresia Wanjiru who has since been established as an innocent person but rather a resident caught in between during the raid.
On Monday, Nancy moved to court blocking his arrest citing harassment by police on his legit business claiming to have been used as a scape goat.
“The applicant is of the firm belief that the timing of the arrest is designed to intimidate and ensure that she does not continue running her business here in Kenya,” said Nancy
