Nandi Hills Member of Parliament (MP) Bernard Kitur now claims his life is danger following his expose on organ trafficking syndicate in the country.
The MP noted that the illegal organ harvesting business has been in the country for sometime now and goes beyond the recent Mediheal Group of Hospitals expose in the North Rift region.

He continued by saying that they are more hospitals linked to the illegal trade.
Appearing before the National Assembly Health Committee, the MP revealed the deep web of the illegal trade that goes past Kenya with the committee issued a 90 day ultimatum to come up with a report on the findings.
“Particular countries noted this, that there was an international racket of illegal organ harvesting. They ended up getting Ksh.450,000,” he said
He continued by saying that there are affluent patients from Israel, Germany, Sudan and Uganda who come to Kenya and leave after picking the organs.
“They target young men with single mothers who can’t fight back. There are brokers, who came while the young men are at the shopping centres and told them there is an easier way to make money,” he said
MP Bernard Kitur also revealed that both the donors and recipients are issued with new identities so as t dodge authorities.
