Nottingham Forest is set to confirm Ange Postecoglou as the new head coach to replace Nuno Espirito with immediate effect.
Ange Postecoglou is expected to take immediate responsibilities at the club including Saturday’s trip to Arsenal.
“Ange Postecoglou to be confirmed as Nottingham Forest head coach imminently after Nuno Espirito Santo departure. 60yo Australian will lead NFFC for Saturday’s trip to Arsenal – joined by a number of staff worked with at Tottenham Hotspur,” said David Ornstein.

The news comes hours after the club confirmed the exit of Nuno Espirito even though the reason behind his exit remains unknown.
“Nottingham Forest Football Club confirms that, following recent circumstances, Nuno Espírito Santo has today been relieved of his duties as Head Coach.
