One suspect has been arrested as a pistol is recovered in Uriri, Migori County as confirmed by the National Police Service (NPS).
Victor Lenoc Ojwang has been on the police radar for stealing but upon his arrest, the police recovered the pistol upon searching him.
“On 30/3/2024 night, NPS Officers from Rapogi Police Post arrested one suspect namely Victor Lenoc Ojwang from Rapogi who was wanted by Uriri Police Station for the offence of stealing and upon search, they recovered a pistol make Gerstenberge and Eberwein German Model 6.
