President William Ruto has mourned the passing of Supreme Court Judge Mohammed Ibrahim, who died following a short illness.
On social media, the Head of State described Judge Ibrahim as a passionate defender of human rights and a steadfast champion of multi-party democracy in the country.
He continued by saying that his admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya broke the barriers in his community, thus inspiring generations to pursue justice, public service, and equality.

He blazed a historic trail as the first member of his community to be admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, breaking barriers and inspiring generations to pursue justice, public service, and equality under the law.
