The Energy Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has confirmed a reduction in the prices of Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene effective midnight today.
Through a statement, they revealed that the prices of Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene are Kshs 0.79, Kshs 0.11, and Kshs 0.80 per litre, respectively.

“In accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019 and Legal Notice No.192 of 2022, we have calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products which will be in force from 15th September 2025 to 14th October 2025.
The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.
During the review period, the maximum allowable pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene have each decreased by Kshs.0.79, Kshs.0.11 and Kshs.0.80 per litre, respectively.
In Nairobi, Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene now retail at Kshs.184.52, Kshs.171.47 and Kshs.154.78 effective midnight for the next 30 days.” said EPRA
