Sakaja unleashes attack on DP Rigathi Gachagua

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has unleashed an attack on Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua accusing him being a bully and disrespecting others.

Speaking on Wednesday during a UDA Delegates Conference at the Bomas of Kenya, the Governor noted that Deputy President hits on other elected leaders but when same thing is done to him, he cries foul.

Huwezi kuwa you are bullying people for two years, then unatajwa wiki moja unaanza kulia. Do you know bullies are the biggest cowards?” he said

According to Sakaja, Gachagua should develop a thick skin and stop dragging others in his political wars.

“Mpaka unaenda sijui kwa msitu, sijui wapi…if you want respect, respect other leaders. If you don’t respect those leaders, then respect the people who put them there.” he continued

Sakaja continued by daring Gachagua to vie for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat come 2027 if he indeed feels things are not good.

“In 2027, you are free to run for any elective post, run and be Nairobi Governor.” he said

The news follows a recent wave of allegations by the Deputy President accusing a few leaders allied to the President who are misleading him He called on leaders from other regions to refrain from Mt. Kenya politics.
