“I had truly wished to attend and pay my last respects to Hon. Ongondo Were at his home in Kaspul. Unfortunately, I will be in Mombasa and unable to join physically. However, I stand in solidarity with the people of Kaspul, his friends, and his immediate family during this difficult time.” he said
He continued by promising to visit the area soon to extend his condolences to the family and the whole community.
“As a fellow leader and member, I have extended my humble personal contribution, though I deeply regret not being present. It pains me, especially as someone aspiring to higher national leadership, not to be there in person—but I promise to visit Kaspul soon and personally convey my condolences to the family and community.
I call upon the people of Kaspul to embrace peace, love, and unity during this period of mourning. Let us honor the legacy of Hon. Ongondo Were by standing together.
Lastly, I remind all Kenyans that life is sacred. Anyone who does not respect the sanctity of human life will never inherit the kingdom of heaven—for life is a divine gift from God alone.” he said
