Former Health CS Susan Nakhumicha has introduced her husband Benson Mulimo to residents of Cherang’any, Trans-Nzoia County.
Speaking on Monday during the distribution of Christmas donations at her Chebarus residence, the former CS noted that she is proud of her husband who is an advocate of the High Court.
She continued by saying that she received blessing from her husband to vie for the Trans-Nzoia Gubernatorial seat come 2027.

“My husband is here with us. Before I came here, this place was deserted, but now it is always busy and full of guests from all the corners of Trans. He has given me his blessing to be the third governor of this county,” she said.
Nakhumicha jokingly called on her husband to get her pregnant so as be the first female governor to deliver at Chebarus Health.
“From today onwards, I will be roasting some good groundnuts for him so that he can deliver good results. I want him to give me Mulongo and Mukhwana. I will improve Chebarus Health Centre, and I want to be the first female governor to deliver there,” she continued
According to Nakhumicha, if elected governor, she will prioritize Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE),Vocational Training Centres (VTCs), health care and agriculture.
“I will make sure Kitale District Hospital is back up and running; I will modernise Wamalwa Kijana Teaching and Referral Hospital by collaborating with the National Government and make sure agriculture is working,” she said
Mulimo on his part called on residents to support Susan Nakhumicha terming her a development-conscious person.
“Mama Susan is development-conscious, and I know she has the capacity to transform Trans Nzoia to the next level. All we need from you is your prayers, advice, and votes come 2027,” he said
