Three suspects have been arrested in Watamu as the police recovered various items including heroin and bhang.
Also recovered by the police was a spent cartridge and a ledger containing firearm sketches before they were taken in custody pending a date with the court.
“On Monday, 21st July 2025, police officers from Watamu Police Station, acting on a tip-off from members of the public, arrested three suspects in Timboni area.

The suspects were found inside a house belonging to one of them. A search of the premises led to the recovery of various items, including 14 sachets of heroin, approximately 100 grams of cannabis sativa, three syringes, 15 plastic packaging sheets, and three sterilised alcohol pads, among other paraphernalia.
Further investigations revealed a spent cartridge and a ledger containing firearm sketches.The suspects were placed in police custody pending their arraignment.
