Three robbers arrested and stolen property recovered in Bungoma

Police acting on an intelligence report have arrested three suspected robbers and recovered stolen property in Chwele Township, Bungoma County.

The raid at a house linked to the suspects led to the recovery of assorted items, including mobile phones, hard drives, flash disks, and a laptop, among other items.

“Officers in Bungoma County have intensified the crackdown on crime through targeted, intelligence-led operations, yielding significant results in the recovery of stolen property.

In a recent operation carried out at Chwele Township, officers raided a rented house linked to a suspect and recovered a large cache of items believed to be connected to criminal activity.

The recovered property included 88 mobile phones of various makes and models, assorted mobile phone accessories, flash disks and hard drives, one laptop, three tablets, three television sets, an LG 14-inch monitor, eight solar panels, a CPU (Antec), two gas cylinders, a power backup system, an inverter, and two motorcycles, among other items.

During the operation, three suspects were arrested and are currently in custody as investigations continue.
