Police officers from Kendu Bay Police Station have arrested three robbery with violence suspects in Mawego, Homa Bay County.
The three are among a group of thugs who attacked a person in the area using crude weapons and riding on motorcycles.

“Earlier today, a resident of Mawego reported that at approximately 04:50 hours, while heading home, he was accosted by a group of thugs riding on motorcycles and armed with crude weapons. The victim sustained a head injury during the attack.
Police officers from Kendu Bay Police Station responded swiftly to the distress call and managed to arrest three of the suspects, who were positively identified by the complainant at the scene.
The suspects are currently in custody at Kendu Bay Police Station, pending further police action and arraignment,” said the National Police Service.
An unregistered motorcycle among other items were recovered from the suspects who are in custody pending a date with the court.
