Chelsea beaten by Elanga’s Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea suffered a second defeat of the season going down a goal to nil against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues stepped in being the favourite to win the clash but lacked the finish despite having the pace and possession from the word go.

Conor Gallagher sent an ambitious off target after Raheem Sterling missing another chance thanks to a Ben Chilwell’s low ball.

Taiwo Awoniyi troubled Chelsea defense as Thiago Silva fought to block his attempt before sending the ball over the crossbar as Joe Worrall got on his way. Many other opportunities presented themselves before the end of the first half.

Former Manchester United forward Anthony Elenga who came on before the end of the first half in place of injured Danilo took advantage of Gallagher and Moisés Caicedo’s mix up at the back to net the only goal for the visitors.

Despite bringing in a number of talented stars on the field, Mauricio Pochettino’s side failed to find an equalizer succumbing to four points from four matches played so far.
