Kenya Airport Authority (KAA) has denied allegations that a Qatar Airways flight encountered severed turbulence and sustained internal damages.
“Our attention has been drawn to circulating Social Media reports alleging that a Qatar Airways flight encountered severe turbulence and internal damage before landing at JKIA. We want to clarify that these reports are FALSE.” said KAA
Through a statement, KAA called on the general public to verify the accuracy of report before it makes its way to social media accounts.

“We urge the public to exercise caution and verify the accuracy of information before sharing it on social media platforms. Spreading false information can cause unnecessary panic and confusion among travelers and the general public.” said KAA
The statement follows allegations shared on social media that a Qatar airways flight sustained severe turbulence and also sustained damages as revealed through images. The allegations also said that one person sustained an injury and was take in for treatment.
