Plans are currently underway to have Barcelona and Liverpool pre-season friendly at Talanta Stadium in Nairobi, much to the excitement of many Kenyans.
The news follows the end of the 2025/26 season in both leagues and the clubs are currently planning their pre-season tours as has been a long standing tradition of top clubs.

Barcelona who have been tarvelling to the US or Asia for pre-season, Hansi Flick is pushing to have the current tour held in Europe so as to cut on players fatigue but access the best training equipment.
The Catalans are expected to play one of their clashes in Birmingham on July 30th before shifting to their next clash.
Kenyans has however emerged as a possible destination for the two clubs who are now planning to play at Talanta stadium in Nairobi.
The clash will act as a perfect opportunity for Kenyans to meet and see their favourite players including Lamine Yamal, Lewandoski, Rashford, Pedri among others.
Liverpool fans will have the opportunity of seeing Florian Wirtz, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ekitike among other up and close in the country.
