President William Ruto has on Wednesday reshuffled his cabinet for the first time and one year after he was sworn in.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi’s office has been merged to occupy the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs which was headed by Dr. Alfred Mutua.
The news will now see Dr. Alfred Mutua move from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife.

Notable changes made by the President include the formation of a new docket, Ministry of Gender, Culture, the Arts and Heritage which will be headed by former Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa.
The Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry which was being headed by Moses Kuria will now be headed by Rebecca Miano who leaves the Ministry of East African Community to Peninah Malonza.
Zachariah Njeru will now head the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation switching places with Alice Wahome who will now head the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development.
Ababu Namwamba is the only CS Who has retained his docket in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as the Ministry has now been renamed from the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the Arts and Sports.
Other key positions reshuffled by President William Ruto include those of Principal Secretaries and Ambassadors.
