PSV matatu and a lorry involved in an accident at Ahero junction, Kisumu

Several people are reported injured after a PSV matatu was involved in an accident at Ahero junction, Kisumu county.

“A road traffic incident involving a PSV matatu and a lorry has been reported at Ahero Junction, Kisumu County.” said Kenya Red Cross

“Those injured during the accident were rushed to Ahero Sub-county Hospital while those critically injured were taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching & Referral Hospital.” revealed an update from Kenya Red Cross

Joining the rescue was E-plus ambulance which revealed that a psychosocial support and tracing desk are being sett up by Kenya Red Cross.

“Our ambulance crew, part of a multi-agency response team, has been actively responding, ensuring at least three injured individuals were taken to Ahero Sub-County Hospital. We are also assisting in referring critical cases to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital. Kenya Red Cross is setting up a psychosocial support and tracing desk.” said E-Plus Ambulances
