Raila Odinga mourns NTV journalist Rita Tinina

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has mourned NTV journalist Rita Tinina who found dead inside her house in Kileleshwa, Nairobi.

Through a statement, the ODM party leader noted that her death has left a void in the media industry even though her legacy of story telling will forever endure.

“In times of loss, we reflect on the profound impact individuals like Rita Tinina have had. From her earliest days at NTV, Rita’s dedication to journalism left an indelible mark on Kenya’s media landscape.

Her passing leaves a void in the industry, yet her legacy of storytelling and integrity will endure. My heartfelt condolences go out to her loved ones and colleagues. May God grant them strength and fortitude.” said Raila

The former Prime Minister joins Kenyans and fellow journalist who recounted the countless number of advises that helped their careers in the industry.

At the time of the incident, Rita Tinina was expected to turn up for the day’s duty but her absence prompted her colleagues to enquire about her. She was found unresponsive inside her bedroom.

The family has requested for privacy as they promised to issue a statement in due course.
