Sergio Ramos completes purchase of boyhood club

Former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has completed the purchase of boyhood club Sevilla and will now become the new club owner.

Even though the deal is yet to be sealed, Sergio Ramos’ brother is leading the process before it is officially signed.

“Sergio Ramos has completed the process to buy Sevilla and become the new club owner. The deal is in place with his brother René leading the process too.

Waiting for official and formal steps with lawyers before statement,” said Fabrizio Romano.

In other news, Xabi Alonso has opened the door for a move to the Premier League after holding talks with his agents.

It is understood that the former Bayern Leverkusen and Real Madrid manager is being considered internally by Chelsea.

“Xabi Alonso opens doors to Premier League move this summer after initial contacts with his agents. Chelsea have a shortlist with candidates for the job and aware of his availability, same for Andoni Iraola who wants to continue in Premier League. No decision made yet on club side,” said Fabrizio Romano.
