A woman has been arraigned in court after she was arrested in possession of cannabis and cocaine in Nairobi.
Safia Burhan Marjan was arraigned before Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where she was ordered to remain in custody for four days as the police complete their investigations.

“A woman believed to be dealing in illicit business of drug trafficking was earlier today arraigned before the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Court following a swift raid conducted by Anti-Narcotics detectives over the weekend.
Safia Burhan Marjan was nabbed on Saturday in her house in Raila Estate where two packets containing 462grams of suspected cannabis and 240 grams of suspected cocaine were recovered.
A four-day custodial order was granted- to detain the suspect as the detectives finalise investigations,” said DCI
