Arsenal beat Bournemouth to pile pressure on Manchester City

Four goals from Arsenal on Saturday reduced their gap against Manchester City to one point pilling pressure on the league leaders.

The Gunners who stepped as favourites to win the clash came in with a number of injuries including Saka, Declan Rice and Saliba who were selected to start in the must win fixture of the weekend.

Saka opened the scoring for Mikel Arteta side heading home from close range and the England international was at it again from the penalty spot when Eddie Nketiah was brought down.

Kai Havertz netted his first goal for Arsenal from the penalty spot when Martin Odegaard was brought down. Ben White wrapped up the four goal thriller when his header curled to top right corner of the post.

The win now leaves Arsenal with 17 points from seven games played. Manchester City suffered their first Premier League loss against Wolves leaving them with 18 points.
