Premier League giants Chelsea have sacked manager Liam Rosenior with immediate effect following the club’s poor run of results.
“Chelsea has decided to SACK Liam Rosenior with immediate effect. It’s OVER after 4 months, and 5 consecutive defeats with 0 goals scored,” said Fabrizio Romano
The news comes hours after the club suffered a three-nil defeat against Brighton, condemning them to their fifth successive Premier League match without scoring a goal or registering a win.

It is understood that Liam had lost faith in some players who could not perform under his leadership, when it was clear policy at the club that results come before support.
The Blues had, however, included a break clause in his contract that would reduce his salary in the coming years to come.
“Chelsea had included a break clause into Liam Rosenior’s contract and will not pay out full salary for next year, the fee to be lower. Some players lost faith in the manager; change was seen as inevitable, results always come first, despite support,” said Fabrizio Romano
Calum McFarlane has been appointed as the club’s interim coach in support of the backroom staff until a new manager is signed.
