Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly after an impressive performance against Fulham on Saturday.
According to Arteta, the England international was fantastic last season but encountered some challenges along the way.
Despite the challenges, Arteta says that the defender remained humble and focused, leading to his selection to replace Martin Zubimendi in the midfield.

“Myles fully deserves this. I have been tough on him,” he said
“Last season, he was fantastic. He had some difficult moments after that, but he has stayed very humble and focused… I knew he was ready, available to help in a different position. He’s been fantastic, again,” he continued
The news follows Arsenal’s 3-0 victory against Fulham, taking them six points and four goals clear of Manchester City, who have two games in hand, and with only three games left for the Gunners ahead of the Premier League close down.
Arsenal will now turn their attention to Tuesday, when they will be facing Atletico Madrid at the Emirates Stadium in the Champions League semi-final return leg.
