DCI detectives have arrested a foreign national, the prime suspect behind the brutal murder inside an Airbnb in Roysambu at JKIA.
The foreigner who was about to depart using a Mozambican passport was arrested by Kasarani based detectives who interrogated him before taking him to the station.
His arrest which is subject to further investigations is meant to reveal if the suspect in custody is the same person as captured on CCTV picking up the key and returning back to surrender the payment.

Also under probe is the head of the 20-year-old girl, her personal belongings and her mobile phone which were missing after her dismembered body was discovered.
So far the victim has been positively identified by her family which has remained silent over the issue.
Condemning the case on Tuesday was the Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) who called on action from the police citing the number of similar cases reported by other similar victims.
“We remain very concerned about the longstanding State’s failure to protect women and girls from this type of violence, which in most cases occurs in private spaces by perpetrators who are well known to the victims.” they said.
