Arsenal display five star performance against Bournemouth

Arsenal cemented there stay at 4th positon with a 5-1 win against Bournemouth on Wednesday.

Mesut Ozil made a start in the late night game scoring the opener for the Gunners before setting up Henrikh Mkhiitaryan for the second.

A defensive blunder by youngster Guendouzi saw Bournemouth score one sending Arsenal in the lead in the first half.

Two minutes into the second half saw France defender Koscienly ball strike crossing the line before being sent inside by Bournemouth goalkeeper.

Arsenal striker Aubamayeng scored the fourth with a comforatble control on the ball rounding Bournmouth keeper and putting it behing goal.

Substitute Lacazzate sealed things off for Arsenal with a no sweat free kick that went past Bournemouth keeper.

The win see Arsenal settle at fourth position, a point above Manchester United who lie fifth with 55 points.

Even though Arsenal appear the weeker team in top four clubs, they have put effort to ensure they earn a place in next season Champions league if not Europa league.

Having faced a one nill defeat to Bate in their first round, Arsenal bounced back thrashing them at home sending them to the knock out round of the Europa league.

Ozil return effect

Mesut Ozil started in the first eleven against Bournemouth and his impact was felt as he scored a master class goal in the third minute.

Arsenal coach Unai Emry had fitness issues with Ozil and that saw the German Midfielder come in as a substitute against Southampton.

He started his first eleven line up against Bate Borisov where he was crucial in the three nill demolition.

Mesut Ozil combinaton with Henrikh and striker Aubamayeng looked perfect as they controled the ball and feeding it in the right places against Bournemouth.

Torreira manned the midfield making it easy for Mesut Ozil take control of the midfield with ease.
