Education CS Ezekiel Machogu and Kisii Governor Simba Arati trade accusation during a funeral service held in the county.
The exchange between the two leader saw the interception by County Commissioner Kibet Bowen who was also called out by the Governor his utterance made at the podium.
Drama started when the Education CS stood at the podium to read a speech from President William Ruto before he booed by angry youth who he accused of being paid off by some politicians to cause havoc.

Speaking at the event, the CS noted that the youths had been paid as little as Ksh 500 as he challenged the Governor to prioritize development in the region.
“Hii mambo shilingi mia tano, mia nne inazungushwa hapo…hiyo ni upuzi, ushenzi, na upumbavu. Gavana afanye maendeleo si kelele,” said the CS. Tumeona ushenzi mingi hapa sasa tutajitokeza na kusimamisha hii ushenzi.” he continued
The CS who left the podium without inviting the Governor was quickly called by Arati for using rogue police officers to cause havoc in the county.
“Hii kelele yote inapigwa…ni wezi ambao tumekanyagia wao. Wale ambao wanaletanga fujo wametoka hapa. Unataka kumaliza kuongea kabla sijaingia. We ni mwanaume unangoja unasomea mwingine na mimi nimekupata ukiongea,” said the Governor
Responding to the two leaders was Kisii County Commissioner Kibet Bowen who pointed an accusing finger to the Governor for being part of the troubles rocking the county.
“Ni maajabu sana kama kuna kiongozi katika yetu ambaye anaeza chochea vijana wakuje wapige kelele so nataka nihakikishie viongozi wetu, Mheshimiwa Governor ukiwa mbele, sijekuja starehe starehe yangu ni kazi,” he said
