The sporting fraternity is mourning the death of Diblo Kaberia, a veteran journalist who will always be remembered for the love he had for his craft.
Confirming his death was embattled FKF President Hussein Mohammed, who sent his condolences to the family and friends of the journalist.
“It is with deep sorrow that we learn of the passing of Diblo Kaberia, a respected sports journalist, who was very passionate to his craft.

His contributions to sports journalism will be remembered and missed. Sincere condolences to his family and the entire media fraternity, may his soul rest in peace,” he said
Football Federation of Kenya also mourned the veteran journalist, saying his voice had become synonymous with Kenyan football.
“Football Kenya Federation joins the Kenyan football fraternity and the media industry in mourning the passing of celebrated radio football commentator, Diblo Kaberia.
Diblo’s voice became synonymous with Kenyan football, bringing matches to life for countless fans across the country through his passion, energy, and deep love for the game. His contribution to sports broadcasting played a significant role in growing the local game,” they said
